I've never hired a Professional Organizer before, how does it work?
First…. relax!! We will start with an initial visit to your home that will last about an hour or so. During that time, we'll tour your home and discuss the areas of concern. We'll ask questions that will help us get to know you and how your family lives; in other words… what is working for you and what is not. We'll provide a verbal action plan with suggestions on how to get you organized. We can implement the plan working within your budget and time frame. Organizing sessions are then scheduled in 2 or 3 hour increments.
Do I need to be home when you are working in my home?
Yes, we will work with you to sort through your clutter. Only you can determine what is important and what can go! After the sorting process, homeowners can leave the rest of the work to us. However, many homeowners actually learn from the organizing process and can then tackle other rooms or projects on their own. The choice is yours.
My house is a mess. I'm embarrassed to have you see it.
Should I clean up before you come?
Absolutely not! We provide judgment free services. Your privacy and confidentiality are always maintained. We are here to help! It is important for us to see your home as it is. No need to tidy up for us.
What will I need to buy?
After we completing the sorting process, we will make recommendations on organizing products that will work for you. We'll be sure they will work within your budget and organizational style. We'll use whatever items you have first to help you save money.
How long will my project(s) take? What will it cost?
We will provide you with a verbal estimate for each project. You can decide if and when to tackle the project(s)! Typically most rooms/projects take between 3-5 hours depending on room size and degree of clutter. We're very flexible and can offer multi-room/project discounts to help you stay within your budget!
How and when do I pay for your services?
We accept Personal Checks, Cash, PayPay and Visa or Mastercard. A deposit is required to book a session. Payment is due at the end of each organizing session.
My Mother in law could really use your services. Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, we do! It's always helpful to make sure the recipient is open to working with a Professional Organizer.
